Stockholm 2 South consists of five data halls, each built as a separate fire cell rated EI-60 for maximum protection. On-site, customers have access to parking, a comfortable lounge area, meeting and conference rooms, and fully equipped workspaces – all available free of charge. The logistics zone includes a secured cargo entrance with man-trap access, staging areas for equipment setup, and optional personal or dedicated storage rooms to simplify operations on site.
Stockholm 2 South provides a wide range of colocation options, from individual racks in shared environments and caged areas to fully customized suites or private computer rooms.
Stockholm 2 South is secured by 4-meter-high fencing with comprehensive camera surveillance and motion detection around the perimeter. The entire building is classified under Protection Class 3, ensuring full regulatory compliance in every computer room. Customers can also choose to install standard cages or Protection Class 3-certified cages (Ferrapods) for enhanced physical security. Access to the facility is strictly controlled through an access list, personal tag, PIN code, and biometric verification, with entry managed via a man-trap monitored by on-site security personnel.
Stockholm 2 South is a climate responsible data center designed for energy efficiency and circular operations. The facility operates at a PUE of 1.30 and is powered by 100% renewable electricity through Vattenfall’s 24/7 matching program. Excess heat is recovered and reused via the Stockholm Exergi district heating network, and the site includes dedicated environmental rooms for recycling and the reuse of electronics.
Conapto is certified according to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001, a proud member of both the Stockholm City Climate Pact and the European Climate Neutral Data Center Pact, and has been awarded GoClimate’s CO₂ Transparency label for verified emissions reporting.
Stockholm 2 South offers diversified fiber routes from two independent operators, ensuring resilient and high-performance connectivity. The facility features dedicated meet-me rooms for carrier entry, redundant IP multihoming, and site-to-site connections to Conapto’s other data centers. In addition, the site is equipped with CloudConnect, providing a private, secure, and high-speed connection to all major public cloud service providers.
